What to expect

A daily average of 3200m descent and 1150m ascent and between 4 to 7 special stages. There will be some days with some extra shuttle assistance so that you can cover much more trails and enjoy the riding. This is a mountain bike race open to everyone but also an adventure of what the islands are all about. You have ahead of you over 30 special stages in a 250km route, divided into 6 days of racing in some of the most iconic locations of Madeira and Porto Santo.

The ‘Pearl of the Atlantic’ is known to have the World’s most diverse terrain, which will make you feel you’re riding on a different country on every special stage – no kidding! The adventure of racing in Madeira will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, new friendships and make you step out of your comfort zone.

  • 17th May: Arrivals, registration, event presentation, briefing
  • 18th May: Race day one
  • 19th May: Race day two
  • 20th May: Race day three
  • 21st May: Race day four
  • 22nd May: Race day five, ferry ride to Porto Santo island
  • 23rd May: Race day six, awards and party!
  • 24th May: Ferry ride back to Madeira island

AUTUMN EDITION

  • 27th September: Arrivals, registration, event presentation, briefing
  • 28th September: Race day one
  • 29th September: Race day two
  • 30th September: Race day three
  • 1st October: Race day four
  • 2nd October: Race day five, ferry ride to Porto Santo island
  • 3rd October: Race day six, awards and party!
  • 4th October: Ferry ride back to Madeira island
